We’ve been living with this health crisis for months and the spread of Covid-19 is still going strong. As the pandemic wears on, it’s understandable that some of us are getting tired of it all.

Here are some of the things people said to me this week:

  • I can’t hear what people are saying because the masks muffle voices.
  • Wearing a mask sucks! It’s hot, it’s hard to breathe, and it makes me feel claustrophobic and anxious.
  • I’m tired of people being triggered by everything I say!
  • I’m “Zoomed” out!#&%
  • I don’t get it, I go to school and interact with other, but then I’m only allowed 6 people in my bubble.  Doesn’t make any sense to me.

I know this has been hard and I understand how difficult it can be to balance all the priorities.   The important thing is not to give up!  Preventive practices are so important and the most loving thing we can do. Accepting our new normal and staying committed to good (and new) habits can prevent the spread of Covid-19.

It’s critical that you stay resilient during this time.  Talk to someone you trust and find support when life is getting you down. In talking and sharing our challenges, we usually find we’re not alone in our pandemic fatigue and we might just learn how others are coping with the stress of this health challenge.

Remember this won’t be forever.  Stay strong!  Together we can do this.
